Public Call for the AI Voucher Scheme
A New Support Instrument for the Adoption of Artificial Intelligence
The Innovation Fund has launched the Public Call for the AI Voucher Scheme, a new support instrument designed to provide companies with easier access to the services and resources needed to adopt Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based solutions.
Through AI vouchers, companies can access compute/cloud credits and tokens, certification and compliance services with relevant standards, as well as cybersecurity services and cyber liability insurance. The Scheme aims to accelerate the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across the Serbian economy by reducing the costs of introducing and using AI technologies, while strengthening companies' competitiveness and promoting the safe and responsible use of AI.
The AI vouchers is intended for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) that already use, or plan to introduce, AI-based solutions into their products, services or business processes.
Support is provided through non-repayable AI Vouchers ranging from RSD 600,000 to RSD 3,600,000. Each company may receive support through one or more AI Vouchers, up to a cumulative maximum of RSD 3,600,000 over the duration of the Scheme.
The Public Call is open until 31 March 2027, or until the available funds have been exhausted. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, in the order in which they are received, and must be submitted electronically through the Innovation Fund's online application portal.

The available budget of EUR 1.7 million has been allocated for the AI Voucher Scheme through a joint investment by the Republic of Serbia - Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, a World Bank loan and implementation support, as well as a grant contribution from the European Union.
The AI Voucher Scheme is implemented as part of the Serbia Accelerating Innovation and Growth Entrepreneurship (SAIGE) Project, dedicated to strengthening innovative entrepreneurship and scientific research.
