Public Call for the AI Voucher Scheme
The objective of the AI Voucher Scheme is to accelerate the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) by Serbian micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), strengthen their competitiveness and productivity, and promote the responsible use of AI technologies.
The Scheme is intended to support Serbian companies that have already adopted, or plan to adopt, AI technologies by reducing the operational costs associated with AI tools, cloud services, certifications, cybersecurity services and related technologies. The AI Voucher Scheme represents a simple, rapid and low-administrative-burden support mechanism enabling companies to access AI technologies more efficiently and strengthen their digital competitiveness.
Support under the Scheme includes:
AI Voucher providing 100% grant financing (excluding VAT) ranging from RSD 600,000 (approximately EUR 5,000) up to a cumulative maximum of RSD 3,600,000 (approximately EUR 30,000) per beneficiary. Each voucher finances one eligible AI-related activity through one selected vendor/service provider. The maximum implementation period for activities financed under a single voucher is 12 months.
Eligible AI-related activities include:
- Access to compute/cloud credits and tokens;
- Certification and ISO compliance with relevant standards and regulations;
- Cybersecurity services and liability insurance.
Eligible applicants are registered and active micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in the Republic of Serbia that are majority privately owned and domestically controlled, are no more than fifteen (15) years old at the time of application, and have received less than EUR 1 million in cumulative financing from the Innovation Fund, together with affiliated entities, including the requested AI Voucher funding.
To be considered, applications must be submitted electronically through the Innovation Fund online portal.

The Public Call remains open until the available budget of EUR 1.7 million has been exhausted.
Applications may be submitted continuously until March 31, 2027, or until the available funds are exhausted, whichever occurs first. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
Incomplete applications, as well as applications submitted after the closure of the Public Call, will not be considered.

Financing for the AI Voucher Scheme is provided through a joint investment of the Republic of Serbia (Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation), through a World Bank loan and implementation support, and a grant contribution from the European Union. The Scheme is part of the Serbia Accelerating Innovation and Growth Entrepreneurship (SAIGE) Project, dedicated to strengthening innovative entrepreneurship and scientific research.
