ExpoTech: Public Call Closed

The ExpoTech Programme of the Innovation Fund attracted the interest of innovative companies, as confirmed by the closure of the public call with 92 submitted applications. The programme is aimed at supporting the development and implementation of advanced technological solutions within the preparations for the EXPO 2027 Belgrade Specialised World Exhibition.

The selection process for innovative projects to be financed includes an administrative and formal eligibility check, followed by an evaluation carried out by an independent expert committee. Upon completion of the evaluation process, a decision on project support will be made, based on the quality of the submitted solution proposals and the funds available under the public call.

The expected timeframe for the decision on the shortlist is late January 2026, while the finalisation of the selection process is expected in mid-February 2026.

Funds for the implementation of the ExpoTech Programme have been secured from the 2025 Budget of the Republic of Serbia, within the budget line of the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, in the total amount of EUR 254 million.

The supported technological solutions will be further developed, tested and implemented in a real-world environment, with the aim of their demonstration during EXPO 2027 Belgrade.
