Scents Inspired by Nature
Sensei: A new generation of eco-friendly products for refreshing spaces
From a small workshop near Belgrade comes a product that delights the senses and proves that sustainability is possible even in an industry dominated by synthetic, mass-produced solutions. The Sensei Luxury Perfumes team has created eco-friendly air fresheners for cars and wardrobes, made from tree bark, cork, and essential oils of lavender and rosemary, without artificial components.
Instead of the usual chemical formulas, Sensei’s fresheners bring natural aromas and a sense of safety in everyday use. With carefully selected ingredients and a simple yet elegant design that meets the demands of modern consumers, they offer a healthier and more environmentally responsible way to freshen up indoor spaces and vehicles.
This innovative solution was developed with the support of the Innovation Fund and the European Union, which helped the team test, improve, and prepare the products for the market. In addition to financial support, expert guidance played a crucial role in overcoming regulatory, technological, and production challenges that often hinder the path from idea to realization.
Founder Aleksandar Rajković points out that this support was crucial in the most sensitive stage of development, when an innovation needs to become a real product.
“We had a vision based on natural materials and a commitment to quality, but the journey from idea to final product required much more than enthusiasm. With the Fund’s support, we overcame obstacles, complex procedures, raw material sourcing, and regulatory barriers. That gave us strength and the confirmation that what we are creating has real value – that it is not just a product, but something that carries a message, an emotion, and growth potential,” says Rajković.
The products have already found their place in the local market, and positive customer feedback confirms the growing need for natural and healthier solutions in everyday life. Scents that awaken the senses without overwhelming the space, carefully chosen materials, and refined design all contribute to making these air fresheners stand out as different, authentic, and worth noticing.
Encouraged by positive reactions, the team is now planning to expand production, create new fragrance combinations, and reach global markets. All future steps will stay true to the same values: natural ingredients, reliable quality, and care for both people and the environment.
“We believe that a product created in harmony with nature, while meeting high standards of quality and design, can find its place in homes around the world. This is not just our ambition, it is our message, our fragrant signature that we bring wherever we go”, adds Aleksandar Rajković.
